March's Favourite Posts

My computer was invaded by a wonderful Trojan virus which has completely killed it - and this is why I have been silent for a while - I am still "computerless", except for my husband's laptop which I can use when he's not working. The wonders of the world wide web...! But let us move on to much better topics - the posts I most enjoyed during the month of March!

I lived in London for five years and I have been an anglophile probably since I was 10 years old. Even though I was 22 when I moved to England, I consider London my home, so whenever there is a post about London, I am all over it! Like Ronda's London Photo Tour! From museums, to shops, art galleries, restaurants, and pubs, it was the perfect post for reminiscing!

Felicity's post In the family... showed her wonderfuls paintings and her father's watercolours - what a talented family! Please, show us more!!

A blog I recently discovered, Brooklyn Limestone, is filled with exciting posts on "adventures in renovating a Brooklyn Limestone"! Before I moved to CT, I worked for an architect in NYC and one of the projects I was involved in was the design and renovation of a brownstone, also in Brooklyn, very similar in plan to this one. I have spent hours reading this blog - just to get a taste, check out the before and afters for the bathrooms!

Habitually Chic wrote a fantastic post on Fabshionable Films, featuring some of my favourite films and some others I have not seen yet but have since added to my list! Great post, très chic!

One of my favourite type of posts is that that show fabulous shops - I already have a very long list of "must visit" stores just on the account of blog recommendations! London Calling went shopping in Boerne, and My Notting Hill went shopping in Dallas, and then Chicago, here and here.

Last but so not least, I loved Things That Inspire's post on Wall Series. I have been collecting prints for a few years and soon it will be time to frame them - this post has great ideas on how to display artwork and so I can better plan on types of frames!
